Dorset Naga is a red chili pepper, and it's has many similarities with Bhut Jolokia. It origins from Bangladesh, India, but the chili has been refined in the UK.
Just like Bhut Jolokia, Dorset Naga is a "Slow Burner." It can take up to 45 seconds before you feel the heat - however you can expect to enjoy the heat for at least 30 minutes.
Dorset Naga has a sweet, smoky taste. In India the chili pepper is often enjoyed while it's still green and is eaten raw as a side dish.
If you don't feel like eating Dorset Naga raw, you can use it in hot sauces or in a variety of dishes.
If you live in a colder area, you can plant your seeds indoor and later move the small plants into a greenhouse or place them on a sunny porch. You can also place the chili plants in a sunny windowsill. The very hot chilies need lots of sun and warmth, beside that chili plants are easy to grow. They don't need some special care - just sun, warmth, water and maybe a bit of organic fertilizer.
